The project Euroshopping is a town planning study of four different elements: housing at the northern part of the parcel, hotel in the eastern part with exposure to the traffic -affected street, a sport complex in the west and a boarding house at
the south-western part of the parcel, intended for multi-purpose use by the sport complex. Each building has a different elevation and a different form. However the shapes of the different parts appear in the urban design of another part. By comprising each other’s architecture they all contribute to the design whole of the area.
Sometimes, the architectural solutions that are simple contain most correspondence to the built environment, as they do not burden the environment additionally.
The following pictures dive deeper into the topic introduced earlier, expanding on the main idea with examples, analysis, or additional context.

The former project Euroshopping is an abandoned shopping centre at the outskirts of Graz, whereas the parcel is constrained by the KärntnerStrasse as the main traffic street of Graz West commercial area and side streets with some residential blocks surrounding the parcel. The integration of multi-purpose buildings was necessary.
In conclusion
The ever needed sport contents in the area were created in this urban study project, that help the area achieve on diversification of content and making the area more habitable and pedestrian-friendly.
